Navigating & Building Healthy Relationships Part 2
Hey there my loves!
Happy Thanksgiving week. Can you believe it we are here already and before you know it Christmas is here and new years a puff 2024 has made its entrance. I don't know about you but 2023 rocked my boat and i am ready to shake it off and apply all the lessons learned to truly rediscover more about myself and apply the changes.
but before we get into the new year stuff I wanted to share with you the final 2 sessions of navigating and building relations conversation that came about from the she is ready from an empowerment tour I attended at the beginning of the year. Now If you haven't had a listen to Part 1 go have a listen as it sets the mood for part 2.
Now part 2 is simply 4 friends once again sharing their views and prospective on what it feels like to go though their journey of building and creating relationship with others and the impact it has on ourselves. The feelings felt and the discomfort of trying to do things differently. so my friends don't ever feel alone! this journey is scary but we are in this together.
In this episode I share 7 tips and if you didn't catch them it's ok I have listed them below.
1- Self-reflection: take time to reflect and understand your values, beliefs and priorities in order to align your actions and choices with what brings you peace and fulfillment.
2- Mindful meditation: Practice being in the present moment with yourself that will allow you to let go of worries of the past and future and calm the mind into the present.
3- Gratitude Practice: Focus on the positive aspects of your life this will shift you into contentment and positivism around the things you do.
4- Let go of attachments or expectations: letting go of what we think things should look like or be and accept change or difference in opinions or actions. Change is a good thing and a natural part of life that brings freedom and peace from the things that don't work out to what we thought they should.
5- Surround yourself with positive influences: get around those that uplift you. Try joining communities of like minded and non judgmental circles that will bring joy and fulfillment to promote high energy.
6-Self-Care & Health Habits: This one can be many different things. simply engage in activities that nourish your body, mind and soul.
7- Practice forgiveness: Let go of a grudge, anger, resentment or guilt for these things hinder your inner peace. Forgiveness allows you to release negative emotions and move towards a lighter heart.
There you have it my loves simple and attainable steps to practice as we move forward to close out 2023. Remember, finding peace is continuous practice but with patience and perseverance , you can obtain it!
